Cheng (Stephan) Zan, Ph.D. – Petroleum Engineering


He got Ph.D. degree in Engineering Thermophysics from Tsinghua University in 2008. Dr. Zan has more than ten (10) years’ experience in Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) for heavy oil and mature oilfields. He is the former deputy director of State Key Laboratory of EOR for Petrochina and involved more than ten (10) thermal/chemical EOR projects in China, Mid East and West Africa. Also, his research interests stretch from reservoir management to energy optimization for water-energy system.
