Dr. Doug Harris is a scientist/engineer with five degrees and 15 years of industrial experience. He has worked at major companies including Lexmark, Cytec, and FM Global on diverse projects including toner development, mining chemicals, and ionic liquids. He has a black belt in Six Sigma, and brings cutting-edge experimental approaches to solve complicated problems. Many innovative products were brought to market under his leadership. He founded Meridian11 Chemicals in 2013, developing simulation software to optimize copper solvent extraction for large mining companies. The improved process lowered production costs and reduced energy usage. Doug is currently Water Chemistry group manager at PEER.
